Meet the highly qualified staff that make up the Children’s Center of Mercer County
Sarah has been serving as the executive director since August 2018. She graduated from Slippery Rock University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special education. After working in school districts in Pennsylvania and South Carolina, Sarah found herself at the doors of the Children’s Center of Mercer County!

Stephanie is the heart and soul of CCMC. She has dedicated the last 22 years for the children and staff at the center. She holds a current Child Development Associates Certificate and always offers a smiling face or helping hand when you walk in the front door.

Amy has a bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education for Slippery Rock University. This is her tenth year teaching. She spends all her free time with her 5 year old son in Kindergarten.

Makayla is a Penn State graduate, with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She is from Greenville, PA and lives there with her husband and three children who she loves to spend her time with.

Chris will celebrate her 20th year at CCMC in August 2019. She holds a current CDA and her love for children has kept her with the center.

Miss Amber is a SRU graduate with teaching certificate in Early Childhood and Elementary Education! This is her third year Pre-K at CCMC. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben and daughter, Emma.

Roxy has always had a special place in her heart for children. She has worked at CCMC for the last 16 years. She earned a Child Development Associates Degree for infants and toddlers at Penn State.

Renee has been at the center since July 2018. She is an energetic person who always lends a helping hand. She has a strong passion for working with children.

Miss Anna is a Westminster graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. She currently leads our Preschool classroom. She spends all of her free time with her family.
Sam has been working in childcare for the last 22 years. She holds a current Child Development Associates Degree. Her greatest joy in life is her young daughter.
