Our Programs

Toddlers (12 months- 3 years old)

In this program, children are provided with a nurturing classroom environment, educational toys and stimulating activities as well as immersive language experiences. Energy and excitement are a natural part of growth and learning. We channel that energy into positive learning experiences, giving plenty of room to move and explore. We provide nurturing guidance as they develop physical skills and master emerging milestones. Your child will feel safe, secure, and happy in each of our rooms.

Our rooms are divided into 3 rooms: Toddler 1 (12 months -24 months), Toddler 2 (24-36 months), and 3-Year-Old

Preschool (3 years old)

To prepare each child for their school years, we offer a preschool classroom. This room provides a balance of formal instruction, collaborative play, and individual exploration. Our preschool classroom is designed as a learning community, where your child not only builds skills vital to success in kindergarten, but also gains respect for others, and a strong sense of confidence. The Preschool program provides a focus on fostering independence while working on cooperation and communication skills. We provide hands-on learning experiences and strive to promote literacy, number awareness, and social-emotional skills.

The Preschool classroom operates daily Monday through Friday from 8:45a - 2:45p 6-hour program. For parents looking for a part time approach, they can choose the Monday-Wednesday-Friday option. Our teachers use the Creative Curriculum along with Teaching Strategies to develop lesson plans that reflect the Early Learning Standards of Pennsylvania. By using a hands-on approach to Learning Through Play your child with learn the beginning development stages of education the learn and grow from.

*Children enrolled in the preschool classroom must be fully potty trained and prepared to attend an educational environment.
*There is no nap time in the preschool or Pre-K programs

Pre- Kindergarten and Pre-K Counts

Being prepared for Kindergarten is a vital part of success for the educational process, not only from the education standpoint but from a child’s emotional standpoint as well. Feeling “ready for Kindergarten” develops a love of school and a love of learning. CCMC understands the importance of instilling this love of learning, which is why we have developed our Pre-K program.

Our Pre-K program is taught by a licensed, state certified lead teacher who is educated in the Pre-K and Kindergarten state content standards which govern all Pennsylvania schools. Our curriculum is aligned not only with these state content standards but also with the area schools’ curriculum programs. This ensures that your child will receive instruction that will have her/him prepared to enter into the Pennsylvania public/parochial school system.

We have two Pre-K opportunities: Pre-K and Pre-K Counts. Pre- K Counts is a state funded program designed for families who meet the income eligibility guidelines of a family income less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. This program is free for qualifying families. Both programs are identical in academic nature – The only difference is funding.

**Children enrolled in the Pre-K classroom must be fully potty trained and prepared to attend an educational environment.
*There is no nap time in the preschool or Pre-K programs

School Age ( 5 years old- 12 years old)

Our program is geared for children in Kindergarten through Middle School who are too old for traditional childcare facilities but are too young to be left at home. We provide activities focused around academic exploration, arts/ crafts, games, sports, and wellness. We offer a before and after school care program to work around parent’s work schedules. The Hermitage School District will bus your student to and from our facility.

During the summer months, we offer a summer academy. With the time away from the rigor of the school year, students are immersed into a learning environment full of exploration that is meant to encourage their natural curiosity and the development of social and behavioral skills. Snacks and lunch are provided and the students participate in educational and recreational field trips throughout the summer.
